Interplay brings together people from across the world to participate in diverse artistic and creative endeavours.

Interplay welcomes diversity and does not discriminate in regard to colour, race, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or sexual preference. Attendance at Interplay is very competitive and prestigious, and delegates’ behaviour should reflect this. The festival encourages respect of cultural differences and of others’ personal property and safety both while delegates participate in the Festival and while visiting Townsville.

In particular, sexual harassment will not be tolerated. Sexual harassment incudes any unwelcome or offensive sexual advances, uninvited touching or sexually related comments. It has nothing to do with mutual attraction or genuine affection between people. Courtesy and common sense should prevail.

Festival staff are always available to help resolve any communication conflicts or cultural differences, which may arise.
