QUOTES FROM DELEGATES AND TUTORS
“Shoot yourself our of a cannon if you can’t make the flight- just get there. No excuses. I’m a better person, playwright and cultural ambassador just for spending two weeks talking about everything I know and don’t know. There are no better two weeks!”
- Ben Noble, Playwright Delegate, 2005.

“Interplay has had a profound effect for me personally as a dramaturg in terms of my confidence and working methods. It is two of the finest weeks of a lifetime dramaturgically and socially. Through interplay I have made wonderful friends and formed ( in terms of my work) an invaluable international dramaturgy network that provides a community in the face of isolation in playwright development in my own country. New Zealand. I can think of no better thing for a playwright of dramaturg to do in the world.”
- Mark Amery, Tutor, 2005.

“It is young and energetic. It is a festival that created new dynamics and innovations in writing for performance at the high professional level and universal scale”
- Nguyen Thi Mai Mai, Playwright Delegate, 2005.
